Dr Oliver Kreuzer

MAIG RPGeo, MAusIMM

Oliver has spent most of his career trying to better understand why ore deposits form where they do, and how we can use this knowledge to make exploration smarter, faster and more reliable. Along the way he has worked with excellent teams, mapped some challenging terrain, and helped turn geological ideas into real-world exploration outcomes. His consulting practice centers on predictive targeting, combining mineral systems analysis, structural geology, geochemistry, geophysics and remote sensing. Increasingly, he incorporates AI and intelligent analytical workflows, not to replace expertise, but to amplify it where data are sparse or systems are poorly understood. Research remains an important part of Oliver’s work. Publishing pushes his thinking forward, and helps advance conversations about what the next generation of exploration tools and approaches should look like. More than anything, he enjoys helping teams see new possibilities in their projects, often in places that have been overlooked for decades.
